The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby What is the theme of this book? - Trust trust issues. Funny enough this is the name of my brand I'm trying to grow but I find it very fitting. Nobody in this book trusts each other and every single one of them is fake. Nobody in the book is a good person or a real friend. It was all fake.

    The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby What does Point of View do for the story? Is Nick a reliable character/storyteller? - No. Nick is a horrible insufferable human. He is narcissistic & construes things to fit his narrative of whatever he wishes to believe. He is very close-minded and has tunnel-vision. How does Foreshadowing impact suspense/inferences in the story? - Foreshadowing makes the book predictable but also very suspenseful in a way. For example: We know that when Nick talks about the Valley of Ashes he will go there and eventually meet the girl thatDaisy's husband is having an affair with but we cannot foreshadow anything else. This is what builds suspense in the story. We can infer a possible fist fight or maybe Daisy finding out about the affair. 

   The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby What does the green light mean to Gatsby? - I believe it gave Gatsby hope or for him to continue on. For him to keep trying to win Daisy over. 

  The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby Places in the book where events take place: West Egg , East Egg , Valley of Ashes , New York City.  - The narrator describes these places depending on where they are & the income of that area. He also tries to make the reader understand EXACTLY where these places are located , as well. - I believe it represents the differences of the people and how they are the way they are , since the area you grow up in can play a big part in your development as a person.

  The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby The Lack Of Morality in the Modern Age - Every character in this book has participated in the narcissistic action of participating/helping someone have an affair. Every single character in The Great Gatsby are all horrific people & you can't root for anyone.  - Does genuine love exist in modern times? Obviously. However , it's existence is hard to find; oftentimes , you will believe you have found it , when in reality it's an illusion. 

The Great Gatsby The Great Gyatsby Thoughts: - The book is slow paced so far - Not much has happened except affairs and people constantly lying - The plot is about a filthy rich man & everything the Narrator is doing/seeing this character do.
